I posted a poll last week, trying to determine how many of you use coupons and of that percentage how many of you are male, just for fun. I also wanted to use the poll to assess what kinds of items and deals I should post on my blog in the future. So according to the poll, coupons are a definite. The majority of you said that you do use coupons, so I will definitely continue to post coupons in conjunction with deals as I find them. 83% of you said that that you use coupons, 16% said that you did not. All that answered the poll were female.
Thank you to all those who participated!!!! However, the results were inconclusive in that only 18 of you or 19% of my weekly visitors participated in the poll. I was hoping more or most all of you would have answered the poll.
According to the poll, no males use coupons or rather no males voted---so I am still unsure as to whether there is truth behind the rumors that males hardly ever use coupons. My husband will use the ones I give him when picking up items for me, however, he never seeks them out, or clips them.
I am curious if males even visit this blog, perhaps the title Centsible Mommy is keeping them at bay. I assure you gentlemen that there are deals for all to be had-both females and males alike. So, male readers, don't be discouraged by my blog title or my pink piggy or the pink writing I had. I am actually in the process of figuring out a redesign-so hopefully when finished all will feel welcome. Any help in that area would be appreciated as well.

Discussion: Gas...$ 4 per gallon by summer?!?!

Rumor is that gas prices are going to soar to $4/per gallon by mid summer. That's going to be the low end. Some areas of the country will be slightly over. I believe it... as gas prices are already between $3.75-$3.89 per gallon in my neck of the woods and appear to be increasing daily. What are consumers expected to do??? With these hikes in gas prices, sure enough prices on all items are going to increase as well.
What are the current gas prices where you live? What are your suggestions for saving at the pump? Also, does anybody know of any gas rebate programs, credit cards that offer gas incentives, or other savings programs. Share with all of us please!

My detergent of choice is Tide Pure (fragrance free for the lil ones skin) which happens to be quite costly. I wanted to ask the readers if they knew of any printable Tide coupons. If so, please leave your two cents in the comment section on where to find them.

Hi Everybody,
I received a few emails and comments from some of my readers inquiring where I learned to be so fabulously frugal. So in response to these questions, I posted a banner leading to all the books I have utilized in my quest to live large for less. They have proven to be quite helpful to me. It is on the sidebar, it states How I Learned to be Fabulously Frugal. As for these books, I really recommend The Tightwad Gazette for starters. And to start your quest to Financial Freedom, anything by Dave Ramsey is a must read. Of course, there are some others I have utilized too, they are listed there as well.
However, I am still needing to learn more, so for those of you with a savvy for savings, leave your two cents for all of us, please!
Remember being frugal is fabulous!
