Next time you need to find number, do not dial the traditional 411 for service as you can acrue lots of charges this way, instead dial 1-800-Free-411 from both your home & cell phone and pay absolutely nothing! You'll have to listen to a short 30 second ad-but it's well worth the savings!

As I have mentioned a few times during the the last few weeks I have been looking for ways to tighten the budget around my household. One such budget cut I have been focusing on is cutting the costs of my phone service. I mentioned Vonage last week and the significant savings it would offer. As I said it wasn't yet available in my area, which I was disppointed about.
But yesterday after seeing a commercial for Magic Jack, I went to their website and read up on it. If you use this device, it is only $20 dollars a year for phone service!! What?!!!
Right now-as luck would have it- they are offering a 30 day free trial which expires today :( !
Needless to say, I am signing up for their risk free trial to find out more how it works and to cash in on these savings. These savings will be too hard to pass up and I definitely want to give it a try!

Here's my take on it:
As the price of gas increases, and well everything else right along with it (and it's still rising every day) most of us are trying to cut costs and expenses where we can. My family is no exception. By doing a price comparison of my current phone rates vs.
Vonage's rates...I would save nearly $38.00 a month. That's a savings of $456.00 a year...unfortunately, I can not use this service because I live in an area where Broadband and High Speed Internet are not yet available...but rumor is we are getting it soon...and I definitely plan to make the switch to
Vonage immediately.
The Vonage $24.99 plan offers:
~Unlimited local and long distance calling in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico
~FREE calls to landline phones in Italy, France, Spain, UK, and Ireland
