"Sweet Life" Giveaway!-Now Closed-Winner Announced Soon!
7:30 AM Posted by Centsible Mommy
I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of Mia King's Sweet Life and I loved it!
In celebration of today's release of her newest novel, Sweet Life, author Mia King is giving one of my readers a chance to win a copy!
Sweet Life:
"When her husband, Paul, gets a new job, Marissa Price leaves the island of Manhattan for the island of Hawaii. Paradise seems like the perfect place to find herself, save her marriage, and reconnect with her 8 year old daughter. But once there, Marissa discovers her new life is less about beaches and beautiful sunsets and more about cows and lava flows. Their "new home" is a fixer-upper at best. But what most needs fixing-her marriage-is the first to crumble when her husband announces he wants some time apart to find himself.
As New York beckons her back and Marissa suspects Paul is having an affair, she begins to seriously question the wisdom of having made the move to Hawaii. Yet the women she takes in as tenants to make ends meet and her daughter's blossoming love of the island begin to hint at a new definition of ohana, or family. Pulled in opposite directions, Marissa is faced with the most important decision in her life-a choice that will define who she is, what she wants, and where her happiness lies."
Mia King also includes many Hawaiian recipes at the end of the book like Guava Grilled Steaks and Warm Chocolate Lava Cake. And what could be sweeter than curling up with a good book and some delicious chocolate cake?

Hi, I enjoy reading books about women and their friendships. The people that move into her rental house would certainly be interesting. The relationship between her husband and her is strained and I have a feeling she is going to assert her independence. Please enter my name in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi
