Don't Underestimate Aldi!

For those of you whom have never shopped at Aldi, it is a grocery store that carries goods mostly under their private label, therefore, their costs are significantly lower. I was never a big fan of Aldi until recently that is....they have really come a long way with their selections and quality. I find myself shopping there more and more to combat these ever rising gas prices. Sure, there are still a few things there that I just do not care for...but for the most part everything else is good. They offer a Double Guarantee..basically if you are unsatisfied with any of their products they will not only replace the item, but give you a refund as well, so basically if you buy a product that isn't to your liking...they will refund your money(not sure if you'd want a replacement if you did not like it.
One downfall of Aldi is they do not except any coupons...none whatsoever. But the prices are already reduced so I guess it equals out. Note: you have to bag your own groceries-no big deal! My son has a grand old time slamming stuff into the bags(oh, which reminds me. You have to buy the bags as well...I think they're $0.05 each. We just use reusable bags or some people recycle the bags they buy, which is better for the environment anyways.)

And to my surprise when I did a search on Aldi, I came across their website which has recipes based on the foods they carry, shopping list, and a menu planner. Wow, maybe this will help me get my act together as I have the tendency to go to grocery stores without a list and end up spending more than I should, because I am clueless as to what I should get.
I say if you haven't been to Aldi yet, at least check it out...you'll be surprised at the savings!
Note: My husband saw me writing this and jokingly asked "Do you have stock invested in Aldi that I don't know about?" I then asked myself, why am I hyping up Aldi? After thinking about it, maybe Aldi should pay me for posting this or offer me a cart of groceries or something...that won't happen. But, I just wanted to pass this information on to you.
Have you shopped at Aldi recently? What do you think of their products & prices?

I really like Aldi, but I sometimes forget that they don't accept checks...now with debit cards, that's not a problem. I really like their specials on produce!
