Kimochi pronounced (key-mo-chee) means feelings in Japanese, and kimochis (feelings) are what you'll find inside every adorable Kimochi character! The kimochis/feelings are small stuffed pillows with a feeling printed on one side and a corresponding facial expression on the other that fit inside the Kimochi plush character. Each Kimochi character comes with 3 kimochis that coordinate with the characters personality and also come with a How to Kimochis Feel Guide!
Kimochis were designed to help children get in touch and better understand their feelings, which is sometimes hard for children. With the use of these adorable Kimochi characters while playing and using puppetry, children can feel safe to explore their feelings and grasp them. Through the use of these fun characters, children can build their self esteem and confidence as they learn to understand their feelings or kimochis one at a time!

The Kimochi character I was sent for my son was Bug. Bug, a super cute caterpillar who although intelligent, thoughtful, and has secret dreams of flying is often cautious about change, and meeting new people. Bug also lives in a Manzanita Tree and plays the mandolin. This is just a little bit about Bug; Bug has more dynamics to his personality. Bug also has hidden wings and transforms from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly!
Within moments of playing with Bug, the door to communication was opened, as my 4 year old son ,whom is often shy and apprehensive about new people and places, and I were discussing his feelings, sharing stories, and playing with Bug, who by the end of our conversation had sprouted his hidden wings! I feel Kimochis are not only great for kids because they are cute and fun to play with, but also a beneficial tool for both the child and his/her parents to discuss a child's feelings and help your child better grasp theor feelings which leads to confidence and self esteem.

One lucky winner will be randomly drawn to win aa Kimochi of their choice courtesy of Kimochis.com! Deadline for entry is Thursday, December 11th at 11:59 PM. Winner will be announced December 12th! Winner will have 72 hours to claim prize once notified. In the event a winner does not cliam a prize within 72 hours a alternate winner will be drawn.

Oh my goodness~ I personally adore the Cloud Box kimochi. It'd be a struggle, but I'd end up giving this to my God-daughter. The feelings inside the Cloud Box seem like they'd suit her.

I like Huggtopus. I can really see the similarities between her and my daughter. She can be overbearing and needs to learn about boundaries, but she also has a big heart, just like my daughter!

I just ADORE Huggtopus! I have a grandchild that needs a constant hugging companion!

I definitely think that the Huggtopus would be a good match for my son. He is a very happy and friendly child who loves everyone! And he definitely needs to learn about boundaries. At 2 years old, people pass it off as cute, but as they get older it starts becoming overbearing. But he means well! Thanks for the giveaway!
