Coupon Contest-Deadline Tuesday, May 27th

10:00 PM Posted by Centsible Mommy

In the spirit of fun, I thought it would be a good idea to hold a contest. The prize being coupons. I've assembled $32.50 worth of assorted coupons as a prize. I will mail these coupons to the winner. How do you win?

Simply leave your first name and email address in the comments section along with a money-saving tip/trick(not previously posted on this site). You may enter more than once, but you must leave a different money saving tip each entry.

After I get about 10 responses or more (unless deadline comes first), I will pick a name at random. I will then notify the winner by email and request their mailing address. Deadline is next tuesday-May 26th, 2008. Good Luck!

(I will hold a contest like this often, so check back as the coupons will vary each time!)

I make my own laundry soap using a grated up bar of Fels Naptha soap (.99) and a half cup each of borax and washing soda (a couple bucks per box...one box lasts me a year). A batch of this detergent lasts my family of three about two months. Use one tblsp. per load. Works great. Safe for high efficiency washers. White vinegar makes a great fabric softener too.

Oooh, I'd love to win the coupons! Here is my money saving tip....not sure if you've received this one or not...but...I like to use the expensive dept. store bought hand soaps in my bathroom...with the pretty pumps. However, when they run out, I do not like to spend 9 or 10 dollars on the replacement. So, I buy SUAVE Naturals body wash for about 2.50. They come in much larger sizes so I can keep using it as a refill. My favorite scent is the Sweet Pea and Violet. Pretty much the same consistency as the expensive hand soap. And it doesn't dry out my hands.

I think it is a great idea to schedule your trips so that you maximize your gas dollars. I live in the country and it's important to be wise when making the trip into town.

    Have a wonderful Memorial Day!
